Måns Zelmerlöw wins Eurovision Song Contest 2015

Five editions ago, on the stage of Odessa, Måns conquered the hearts of VSC juries and obtained 280 points. It is now the second most succesful entry (judging by the no. of points), first being Loreen. Funny, the same thing happened tonight in ESC, with Loreen keeping her swedish record of most points and Måns receiving 365 points, which is, I believe, the 3rd biggest number of points in the history of the contest.

Eurovision 2015 was a 3-horse race: Sweden, Italy and Russia. While Russia had a weaker performance tonight than in the semi-finals, Polina won the first semi and Måns won the second one. Italy, on the other hand, had it's first performance, as #27 in the draw, attracting huge waves of applause and some hopes that they will win.

This race ended with Sweden receiving the trophy, Russia being the runner-up with 303 points (probably the biggest score as a runner-up ever) and Italy got 3rd place with 292 points.

While some still can't believe Måns won, and their favourite floped (see Estonia), we congratulate this talented guy from Sweden who made us all feel like we are heroes. Because simple things matter and we need no grand things in this beautiful and weird world.
