Italy wins Veritons Song Contests 67!

After the controversial question of who will host VSC67, heroic Romania offered to host in Bucharest, after coming only as runner-up in the previous edition.

Bucharest welcomed 33 countries and the show was watched by the entire city live in Piata Constitutiei, Piata Universitatii and on National Arena. The city is now also in a complete party after the host-country managed to get yet another top 3 result, with Alexandra Stan.

Our 67th victors are coming from Italy and their song "Canzone per te", which received 180 points (being now the 10th most succesful song in the contest) is a tribute to original 1968 song,  written by Italian composer Sergio Endrigo and sung by Brazilian singer Roberto Carlos. It was the winner song of 1968 edition of the Festival della canzone italiana di Sanremo .

History repeated itself in VSC, and Canzone per te can again enjoy the smell of victory. On 2nd place we have, probably for the first time, Barbados - which just returned to the contest, welcome back! Third place was taken by Romania, the host-country.
