INDIA WINS VERITONS SONG CONTEST 79

India is one of the 16 countries that participated in VSC1. The first head of delegation, Dobrotics, left us long time ago and since then India had 3 more (including the current HoD) and will most likely have another one, as the Turkish delegation announced a switch.

Their best result, until now of course, remained the 6th place that happened in VSC7, under Dobrotics' rule. The new head of delegation brought new times for India, even though the previous attempts received a medium success.

Vera-JJ joined us in VSC55, last time when we went to Asia. She was in charge of many countries, like Lithuania, Algeria and Cuba. It seems India was her lucky ticket!

The winning entry, "Deewani Mastani" received 138 points, ahead with only 2 points than Australia who scored 136 points and 6 more than Ireland, who recieved the 3rd place with 130 points. Delta Goodrem and The Corrs lost in the face of Bollywood hits!

See you all in Mumbai 80, an edition we'll surely remember :)
