France wins Veritons Song Contests 66!

The 66th edition of Veritons Song Contest has come to an end and the winner of the edition stayed the same. It seems that the VSC juries liked Kendji that much that they gave him yet another victory. With two victories and one runner-up result, Kendji Girac is now one of the most succesful artists in the history of the contest.

This edition marked also the interesting fact that VSC travelled to South America, last time this happened in VSC44, when Wanessa made us travel to Brazil.

Another interesting thing about VSC66 is that was won by the host-country, establising a second ocassion when this happened, after VSC 2 and 3 when United States of America won at home.

Unfortunately, France decided to not continue the hosting strike and they left completely, due to lack of funding, after they spend extremely much on their edition in Cayenne. The next edition will be hosted by the runner-up Romania, who is hosting for the first time the contest, if we don't count the Special edition held there.
