We decide to remain in this region, this time travelling to Hungary to find more about how the world is divided in their mythology: the first is the Upper World (Felső világ), the home of the gods; the second is the Middle World (Középső világ) or world we know, and finally the underworld (Alsó világ). In the center of the world stands a tall tree: the World Tree / Tree of Life (Világfa/Életfa). Good evening, Budapest!
Since we enjoyed the romanian and hungarian mythology that much, we decide to explore another mythology in the region. We are mind-blown by Bulgaria's tale of Ispolin. Their mythology claims that ispolini were believed to have inhabited the Earth before humans and to have been considerably taller.
Now it's time to leave Europe once again. Sailing to America, we realize just now how diverse is the native american mythology, every tribe having their own theory about creation and their own gods. Coyote and Opossum appear in the stories of a number of tribes, so we started with this tale.
Europe again. This time Switzerland. Being a country that diverse, is really hard to determine what is the true swiss mythology. Their folklore mixes Roman/Hellenic with Germanic mythology.
